This is a YouTube channel that has a lot of letter songs to help your student practice letter names and sounds. There are also counting videos on this site!
If your student is not into songs, flash cards are a great tool! You can make flash cards of upper case and lower case letters. Have your student practice telling you the letter name and its sound. You can work on two or three a week and build on throughout the year!
This link has reading passages for each grade level with comprehension questions. If you would like to do some extra comprehension practice at home, this is a great resource!
Have your students practice reading out loud as much as possible! If you're reading with them, stop them every other sentence or so and ask them a question about what they read. Practice makes perfect!
There are plenty of songs on You Tube for students to practice counting! Here is one example, but please feel free to find some more on your own that your students enjoy!

This site has tons of math worksheets for extra practice at home. You can choose the grade level or the skill you want to work on and print practice sheets for your student. If you have manipulatives at home, they're great help. If not, drawing pictures is a great strategy!
